1999 Football #5 - Dan Marino - Ornament
Dan Marino was a famous football player for the Miami Dolphins and in 1983
he was their first round draft choice. He grew up in Pittsburgh and turned
down an offer to play pro baseball after graduation from high school. He
attended college at Pittsburgh University and then as a pro player took the
Dolphins to the Super Bowl in his second season. Dan Marino threw for
more than 50,000 yards and completed 385 touchdown passes.
